Welcome! My name is Gen and I’m a SDI Divemaster.
After living and working in France and Japan for eight years, I settled in the San Francisco Bay Area and got my Open Water scuba certification in the cold waters of Monterey, California. Learning to dive and sharing the beauty of our ocean ecosystems with others has completely changed my life.
I’m passionate about giving back to the ocean through volunteering in marine conservation projects. In 2022, I served as a founding board member and marketing officer for a kelp restoration 501(c)3 nonprofit. During my 250+ dives in Monterey, I’ve volunteered as a Kelp Restoration Diver, organized underwater and beach cleanups, and conducted species surveys.
Eager for a change, I took a career break to travel the world full-time and dive. I’m looking forward to helping you plan your next dive trip. See you underwater!
